Luca Hopkins Joins Team SBR For 2026 Junior Sportbike Championship Campaign

Luca Hopkins has confirmed his move to Team SBR Racing for the 2026 season, joining the team for the 1pMobile National Junior Sportbike Championship aboard Kawasaki machinery.

Following a breakthrough 2025 season in the AJN Steelstock Kawasaki British Superteen Championship, where Luca secured his first British championship podium and finished tenth overall, the young rider will now take the next step in his racing career with Steve Brogan's Team SBR squad.

Team SBR brings a wealth of experience to Luca's 2026 campaign, with team owner Steve Brogan having enjoyed a successful racing career spanning more than two decades, including championship success in British Supersport, Superstock and Superbikes.

Luca is excited about the opportunity to work alongside Steve and continue his development throughout the season.

The move represents an important step forward for Luca as he continues his progression through British motorcycle racing, competing against some of the country's strongest young riders.
